When we were in Phoenix, we grocery shopped at the Asian Market in the city

In Phoenix, we spent the night in Darren's cousin's house

But the common ingredients in both of ours were..

We were in the mall actually when we bought this

Just boil the water and put this in it, stir for 7 minutes and it's DONEE!!

One day we made our own batter to make Fried Mushrooms

Pretty good and crispy batter

But I don't like to eat this type of mushrooms

From where I left..

This could be one of the biggest file post that will take your computer long to upload the pictures

but I have compressed them and hopefully they bring no trouble to the fellow readers :)

Let's start off with 2 weeks ago..

Darren and I went to his uni's open space field to play frisbee
While we were resting, we have nothing to do so we caught dragonflies
Yes, we catch dragonflies with only our hands
They were flying everywhere on the field
With no materials onset because it was so unplanned,
We used my hair as strings!
LOL
It was such a fun experience..

We caught an overall of 6 dragonflies (They were all amazingly blue)

6 because I said so.. LOL

In the end we brought them back home
And let them loose because they were all tangled from flying around on the same spot
:P

Reached home to rest and I was scouting around the house for the cat, Zee
Couldn't find her but saw this Wasp Nest on the corner of the roof
Picked them off from there for my curiosity and took pictures cuz it was cool
(At least they were to me.. haha)

Night time comes, bathed and chilled in the room

Played some games on the computer
(which is now sent to the worksop for repairs)
Felt hungry but thanks to my nifty bag with everything in it, I found snack

Going home from Darren's uni
He likes to let me stand on the back of the car while he drives to the junction
(I think standing on the car while it is in motion is fun)
From there he will let me in to the front seat
This time however, it's his turn.. hehehe

Few days later,

We went to Walmart for some grocery shopping
Was hungry so we bought this

Walked around and this time, it seems like they have more things to buy than the last time I've been there

We were sickly filled up for the day from the buffet when we reached home
So we decided to do some gardening for our budding sweet potato plant
Cleaned up the weeds and saw 2 Praying Mantis!

I think it was 2 days later (Saturday, 30/7)

We walked on the trail near the house
My baby so cute and excited

Checkpoint #1: Guess what this is?

We found growing watermelon!!

Plucking some to see what they look like inside

Checkpoint #2: 1st mile gone

We saw cows
This is actually quite near

And we came across a nearer one
It looked so near to the eyes but in the picture it looked distant

But it still looked far

We didn't walk far
We're on feet so we dare not walk too far
On our way back we saw this two fooling around

Saw these bugs everywhere when we were walking
They stick their butts up when you disturb them
Don't stand so close, they might spray you

Had no idea for dinner
So we head on down to Texas Roadhouse for their bread
It's free when you walk in and eat
We ordered this Baby Blossom appetizer
A whole onion cut to this shape

Filled our tummy and decided to take a walk in Walmart
It was just opposite of our dining place
And we need to ease up the stomach from all the food
Walmart is the best place to stroll at night when you have no where to go
Cuz we can do this and there were not many people around
:D

Darren bought me this mirror for my room

And we head home...

The next day,

We head down to Darren's uni to play games again
hehe
Brought along our bottles
Look at the one that is frosting on the sides
That is mine
It did that cuz we put Frozen Solid Iced Lychee in it

Then after all the games, we head to Big 5 Sporting Goods for their last day of sale
We were there to find Darren a pair of new training shoes
I got myself one too..

haha

Oh ya..
Then we rested until it was time to cycle our butt to the trail again
This time we saw even more interesting stuff

This spot was our 3rd mile and the trail is still a long way to go
We decided to head back cuz it seemed dark and we don't want to be ambushed by wild animals

On our way back, we saw this Tarantula crossing the trail
I took a video of it too
See.. I was so close to that big poisony thing..

After that we continued our cycle
Darren was leading in front
Out of a sudden he braked hard and told me to stop too
I was still in momentum when I almost reached his position and abruptly stopped
10cm from my front tire was this snake
First, it was so blend in to the ground I couldn't see it!
I got down my bike and took pictures of it after that
(Cuz it was so cool!)

After I took this picture, the snake rattled it's tail!!
I was freaking scared I jumped back
Thought it might strike me but it seemed full
Lucky!!!

Heading back

We saw this rainbow at the end
Nice ya?
Darren with his Irish accent: "There's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow~"
